Welcome to the Fort Bend County Retired Educators Association web site!
Retirement is a time when you can do things that you never had time to do. It is a time to fulfill your dreams and become the person you want to be.
This is where membership in the Fort Bend County Retired Educators Association (FBCREA) and the Texas Retired Teachers Association (TRTA) come in. TRTA is a support group made up of more than 70,000 TRS retirees. Its objectives include promoting the professional, economic, intellectual, social, and healthy well-being of retired school personnel and encouraging retired school personnel to give voluntarily of their time, talents, training, and experience in the advancement of education and civic endeavors in the community, state and country.
The members of the state and local units have all experienced retirement and many have been successful in fulfilling their dreams. They know who they are and share their journey with others. Many have started new careers, others are busy volunteering at schools, hospitals, the zoo or in other community service, some are enrolled in classes, some are traveling, others have started non-profit organizations. But most of all, they are happy, rested and informed about their retirement benefits.
Join us today and share your story and become more knowledgeable of your rights and benefits as a retired member of this great society!!!
